Our product uses EDA technology. This technology has been used for decades in various fields, such as polygraphy (lie detector) or psychology, where the body's reactions to various stimuli are observed using this method.

The EDA measures the electrical conductivity of the skin, which varies depending on the activation of the sympathetic nervous system. The sympathetic nervous system is the part of the autonomic nervous system that prepares the body for action, which may be fight or flight. The body responds by, for example, increased heart rate, increased breathing, higher levels of stress hormones or an increase in sweating. When we are at rest and relaxing, the sympathetic nervous system is in balance with the parasympathetic, allowing us to regenerate and relax.

We use these facts effectively

Our app uses this technology to monitor the state of the user's autonomic nervous system during meditation. The user puts on an EDA sensor bracelet and the mobile app monitors their reactions to different meditation techniques. The recordings from the EDA sensor are then analyzed and the app calculates a relaxation score. This objectively shows how deeply the wearer was able to relax and unwind.
