Meditation is a great way to unwind from the stressful pace of life. Maybe you don't know how to start. Don't despair, meditation is easy and anyone can practice it.
Right from the start, it is very important to realize what you want to gain from meditation, what you expect from it and what it is supposed to bring you. A question that seems to be difficult, but it is advisable to clarify the answer to it before starting the meditation exercise.
Find a quiet place
A place where you can focus only on yourself and the flow of your thoughts. A room with a closed door, a garden or a park is often enough. It is important that you feel comfortable and safe.
Sit comfortably
Use a mat on the floor or a chair. The posture should be such that you are able to relax the muscles and at the same time keep the spine straight. Try to find a position so that your body is under as little strain as possible.
Focus on your breathing
Close your eyes and focus on your breath. Breathe in deeply through your nose and slowly exhale through your mouth. Concentrate only on your inhalation and exhalation.
Let your thoughts flow freely
Even during meditation, thoughts may appear to you that will tempt you to divert your attention and concentration. Don't panic, this is normal. How to deal with them? Let them flow freely.
Practice makes perfect
Like any other skill, meditation needs to be practiced. Meditate regularly. The body gradually gets used to meditation. Try to repeat the previous steps every day for 5-10 minutes.
